Haneen Qarout is Managing Director at Tremau, Europe’s specialist Trust & Safety advisory firm, where she advises Big Tech and fast-growing platforms on online safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management under the DSA and UK Online Safety Act, with a particular focus on child safety.
She brings over 17 years of experience in governance, risk, and assurance. She previously served as Head of Audit at a sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi and Head of Risk for a multi-billion pound retail conglomerate spanning joint ventures, luxury franchises, and digital businesses, with earlier experience in risk advisory at KPMG. She has advised Boards and served on Audit and Risk Committees across regulated markets.
