Algorand Foundation became the Signature Sponsor of Connected Life 2022 Conference

The Connected Life 2022 Conference is glad to have The Algorand Foundation as the signature sponsor of this year’s conference.

With the mission to enable an inclusive, decentralized, and borderless global economy, the Algorand Foundation is dedicated to helping fulfil the global promise of the Algorand blockchain by taking responsibility for its sound monetary supply economics, decentralized governance, and healthy and prosperous open-source ecosystem.

Doro Unger-Lee, Head of University Programs underlies how important support for student-led activities are: “We are committed to student support and engagement with student organizations and see them as crucial contributors to innovation and success in blockchain technologies.”

Connected Life is a one-day multidisciplinary and student-led conference supported by the Oxford Internet Institute (OII). This year, the conference Connected Life 2022: Designing Digital Futures aims to create an engaging forum for an interdisciplinary network of researchers, designers, policymakers and future thinkers through keynotes, panel discussions and art exhibits to critically engage with how we shape our digital futures. 

The agenda will include talks on “Who the Internet Thinks You Are” by Jas Johl, visiting policy fellow at the OII, and a panel talk on “The Digitization of Everything” by Shamir Ozery from the Algorand Foundation Inc. 

The conference will take place on the 17th of June 2022 in Oxford at St Catherine’s College. General attendees can still register online.
