Valérie Höß is a public policy and regulatory affairs professional in financial services, focusing on artificial intelligence, data, and digital policy. She serves as Executive Director for AI & Data Policy EMEA at JPMorganChase, leading regional policy strategy and engagement on emerging technologies and regulatory frameworks.

She has held senior policy roles across global financial institutions. At Commerzbank, she was Director and Head of European Affairs, leading engagement with EU institutions and shaping positions on financial regulation and digital transformation. Prior to that, she spent several years at Deutsche Bank, where she led Digital and Anti-Money Laundering Policy as Vice President and held earlier roles in political affairs covering digital, retail, and payments policy.

Her work focuses on assessing regulatory developments, translating policy into actionable insights, and developing advocacy strategies across jurisdictions. She has extensive experience in EU policymaking, cross-border regulatory coordination, and the intersection of technology and finance, including AI, cybersecurity, and digital innovation.

Höß holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in German and European Business Law from the University of Siegen. She also earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the same institution.

Based in Brussels, she works across European and transatlantic policy environments with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and cross-sector partners.
